Legal notice
This page explains, in direct language, the conditions applying to use of the site and the information handled through it.
Informational purpose
This website presents information about the possible strategic acquisition of the .com.watches domain. Content is for information and discussion only.
Information and availability
Information may change or be withdrawn. The domain remains subject to registry, registrar, renewal, transfer, technical, contractual and legal requirements.
Information provided in enquiries
Privacy
Information we receive
We use your name, email address, organisation, current activity or planned business, role, country and message to assess and respond to your enquiry. Identification fields and the declaration of business or professional purpose are required for acquisition enquiries; organisation, role and country are optional for general enquiries. For offers and payment proposals, we also process the amounts, currency, conditions and payment schedule you submit. Do not include sensitive personal information.
Security
Reasonable technical and organisational measures protect submitted information. No method of transmission or storage can be represented as completely secure.
Service providers
Hosting, database, communications and security providers may process information only as needed to operate this website and respond to enquiries.
Controller and contact
Global Digital Identity Ltd (company number 16339013), 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom, is the controller. Privacy requests may be sent to contact@com.watches.
Lawful bases
If you are an individual asking about acquisition for your own business or profession, we use the contact details and proposal information needed to take the pre-contractual steps you request (UK GDPR, Article 6(1)(b)).
For enquiries made on behalf of an organisation and for general enquiries, we rely on legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)): responding to your requested contact, assessing proposals and conducting the private sale negotiation. We use your contact details, professional context and relevant correspondence for these purposes.
We also rely on legitimate interests to record the declared professional purpose and retain relevant negotiation correspondence: documenting the context of the enquiry, managing reasonable follow-up and protecting legal rights where necessary. The retention limits below apply; they do not justify keeping unnecessary information.
To handle privacy requests and complaints, we use your contact details, the request and any information necessary to verify and answer it. The basis is compliance with applicable data protection obligations (Article 6(1)(c)).
Personal data may be handled by authorised personnel and service providers supporting website hosting, email delivery and receipt, and technical support, for those purposes.
Retention
Enquiry records are retained for up to 24 months after the last substantive contact and are reviewed at least annually. A longer period requires a documented exception, such as a legal claim, compliance need or active transaction. Rate-limit and security records are retained only as reasonably necessary to protect the service.
International transfers
If a hosting, database or communications provider processes information outside the United Kingdom, an applicable adequacy arrangement or appropriate contractual and organisational safeguards would be required.
Your UK data rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability or object to processing. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office. We do not make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.

Terms
Terms
Scope of the acquisition
The proposed acquisition concerns the domain name com.watches and the ability to manage subdomains under it, subject to the applicable registration rules. It does not include the .watches top-level domain, its registry or authority delegated by ICANN.
Materials and third-party rights
Websites, source code, images, content, data, software, trademarks and other materials are included only if expressly identified in the definitive acquisition agreement and the seller has the necessary rights to transfer them. Illustrative services are not an operating business included in the sale.
Renewal and ongoing costs
After completion, the buyer is responsible for domain renewal and any registrar, hosting and operating costs, as allocated in the agreement. The current renewal fee, renewal date and any transfer or service fees must be checked with the registrar and confirmed before signing. The acquisition price is not a lifetime renewal payment.
Verification, payment and transfer
Before any payment or transfer, the parties must verify domain ownership, the authority of their representatives and the applicable registration and transfer requirements, and agree in writing on price, currency, fees, payment, transfer and completion conditions. Independent escrow may be considered by agreement; no provider is appointed by this website. For instalments, the agreement must define who holds and controls the domain during payment and when it transfers. These website terms do not replace the definitive acquisition agreement.
No binding offer or acceptance
Nothing on this website constitutes a binding offer, promise, commitment or acceptance. No transaction exists until definitive documentation is signed.
Third-party rights
Acquisition of .com.watches does not grant rights in third-party trademarks, trade names or other intellectual property.
No performance guarantees
No guarantee is made concerning SEO, GEO, search ranking, AI visibility or citation, traffic, revenue, valuation, appreciation or any commercial outcome.
Website intellectual property
The original presentation, copy, layout and visual design are protected to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Permitted use
You may use this site to review the opportunity and make a genuine enquiry. Automated extraction, interference, impersonation, unlawful use and attempts to compromise the service are prohibited.
Accuracy and independent advice
We take reasonable care with the information presented, but prospective acquirers must conduct their own legal, technical, commercial and tax review and obtain independent professional advice.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site is provided without warranties and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from reliance on informational content. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Governing law
These terms and any non-contractual dispute concerning the site are governed by the laws of England and Wales, whose courts have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights that apply.
